I would like to seek your opinion as I'm first time SC buying a resale older flat this year and thankfully can afford to pay it all with cash and cpf.
We wish to stay in a new EC TOP 2021 or a new HDB flat ready by then, hence we want to apply for it over next 1-2 years.
We're only eligible for 20K proximity grant and no other grant due to income ceiling this year.
However my wife will be planning to stop work in 2018-2019 to take care of kids and lower income in total will enable us to apply for HDB/EC.
Is it wise not to take the 20K proximity grant if this is our plan?
