I would like to question about requirement when returning a renting hdb flat. We rent a 3 room flat for 4 years. Landlord agent is telling us that total repair cost is about $5000 and telling us to share 50%. My question is 1) do we need to repaint whole flat at returning? 2) some electrical appliances need repair. Our TA stated $100 limit for repair/replace. Mostly is because very old appliances. 3) Furniture/doors has some wear and tears. What is mean by fair wear and tears? We don't damage any physically. Thanks in advance for your reply.
