I would like to know for example if i buy a unit at valuation $280K with cash value of 20K. If my total cpf in ordinary is 320K, do i need to use hard core cash for the $20K? Please advice as there is cases whereby seller is asking of over $30k. Thanks.

Hi,

Any price above the HDB Valuation will have to be paid in CASH.

This this instance, you have to pay the $20K in CASH.

There are some area that are already selling at ZERO CASH and some of them may be nicely renovated.
