As long as the reasons are genuine, I do not see any reasons why it is not invalid. Perhaps you may wish to indicate why in the first place your child are schooling in the west instead of in Hougang in the first place?

By the way, yes your reason seems to be very valid and you may just attached all the necessary document to back your claim. I have clients who gotten the approval to sell with 2 more years to the MOP but then again it is a case to case basis.
