Good morning Sir,

Have you fulfill your 5 years minimum occupation period? Do you remember who is the main applicant when you purchased this unit? Resale unit?

As both of you are mixed race marriage, you might be able to sell to chinese but it will be better to double confirm with HDB branch office because if you are not the first owner and you purchased it as non chinese buyer as main applicant, you will have to sell to non chinese.

I have a 4rm unit listing at Jalan Membina coming out soon. Hope I am able to offer my expertise to both of you as well.

May I know if your 5 years MOP have been fulfilled? Do you recall who is the main applicant when purchasing the flat? It will be ideal to give the branch officer a call to confirm, I can share with you how to obtain the number.

With mixed race ethnicity, it may be possible to sell under the chinese race and likely all races. With this increased buyer pool, the chances of securing a higher price is better.

The ethic quota depends on the race which you purchase the flat under initially. It also depends on the Ethnic Integration Policy (EIP) quota currently. The quota changes on the 1st of every month.

I have assisted my clients whose unit are affected by the EIP to secure buyers at a good price. 2) Your flat's ethnic group shall follow the main applicant's race.
3) To market your flat for the best price is first find out what is the average selling price within 200m of your flat for the past 6 months.
4) As this will set a guide on the current market price of your flat.
5) Selling at the right price will not only get you a real deal but also speeds up your selling process.
