I will take over the whole HDB loan as my ex spouse agreed to transfer his share of HDB ownership to me due to divorce. If I would like to redeem the HDB and refinance to the bank, how much I need to pay for the legal fee and stamp duty if any?
In addition, I am thinking of paying the outstanding loan in full and redeem the property from the bank upon the ownership transfer. In this case, do I need to engage a solicitor to redeem the property and will there be any difference in the legal fee and stamp duty?
