I will like to purchase a resale flat with my fiance however he has properties in Malaysia under his name. What are my chances if he transfers the properties to his other siblings who are not SC/PRs? Will I still be eligible for grant or purchase?

EVening Ms. Lim,

If you are SC, your fiance can transfer the Malaysia property to anyone and be immediately eligible for the purchase of resale HDB unit. However, since your spouse have disposed private property within 30 months from the purchase date.
