I will be 35 on 1 July 2018. I am wondering when can i officially start buying a HBD flat as the arrangement would take 2 months to finalise from the first appointment date. Does it mean I can engage the HDB sellers/agents in April and set up appointment with HBD 1 May for the resale application and 1st appointment to HDB? This is so that I can move in by 1 July 2018.

Afternoon Kay,

I'm afraid you will have to wait till 1st July before you are eligible to purchase either resale HDB unit or new BTO unit.
