I was a SPR who purchased an unsubsidized flat for more than 5 years. I have converted to S'pore citizen recently and keen to apply a new DBSS/EC. May I know whether do I need to sell away my overseas property whom I bought previously if I successfully obtain a DBSS/EC under the new ruling?

Hi,

yes, you need to sell but you cannot get a new ec immediately as there most be a 30month period between sale of private property to purchase of new EC
