I wanted to use cash for my HDB while allow my CPF to accumulate for a private property. Is this possible ?
at the moment, we have a combined cpf of 40k, cash of 60k.

Hi Peter,

Yes, it is possible. But do take note of the LTV for a second property. ABSD applies too.

Having said that, since you're paying your HDB in cash, there is a way for you to get up to 80% loan for your private property, and at the same time avoid ABSD.
