Asked by
I used to be a co-applicant of a 4S HDB flat more than 10 years ago. We've sold the flat 10 years ago. Now I am married to a PR and we would like to buy a resale flat. Is it true that we can only purchase a flat that is not small than 4S? Because we only have a son and we don't intend to get a big room; a 3 room flat will be sufficient for us. Please advance. Thanks!

Evening,

There are no ruling stating that you cannot buying a smaller unit than your previous purchased unit.
You are eligible to purchase a resale unit, of any size, with your husband, under the Open Scheme.

Do feel free to contact me for further assistance.

Thanks
