I understand the maximum LTV to buy a private condo is 75% if there is no outstanding home loan and it drops to 45% if there is one outstanding home loan. Does the number of outstanding home loan include overseas home loan? If I do not have any home loan in Singapore but has an outstanding home loan overseas, am I still qualified for 75% LTV to buy a condo in Singapore?

Hi,

1) Number of outstanding home loans is only counting the local mortgage loan.
2) You are qualified for 75% LTV for a private residential property in Singapore.
3) The same is applicable to the stamp duty. You will be considered as buying your 1st property in Singapore. No ABSD will be incurred if you are a citizen.

You can still qualified for up to 75% loan to buy a condo in Singapore
I will suggest to check your in principal approval of your loan from banker.

20% Cash/CPF = $200,000
