I (Singapore Citizen) intend to buy a resale HDB flat under the Non-Citizen Family Scheme with my parent. Does my parent need to attend the appointments with HDB? Is the HDB under my own name only or under both mine and my parent's name? Thanks

Afternoon Ned,

Under non-citizen family scheme, your parents are required to attend the HDB first appointment though the unit will be only under your name. Depending on your age, your parent will be required to hold social visit pass of more than 6 months or long term visitor's pass.
