Are you unhappy with the salesperson you have appointed for non-performance or for any specific reasons? Perhaps the agent has been trying his/her best but due to the poor market sentiments, responses for these efforts are not encouraging or outright, the agent is not working at all?
As much as I would love to be assisting you in the subsequent marketing efforts, it would be good to give your existing agent an opportunity to know where exactly is the issue, as I also do not wish for my clients to terminate my services and consider my services to them as a waste of time. On the other hand, perhaps you may wish to discuss further with me what your plans are and I maybe able to advise better.
DIY is fine, except that you may need to answer many phone calls which may disrupt your daily activities, and majority of these calls would likely be from agents who will try to persuade you to allow them market your place on your behalf.

It is not a termination of services but a decision not to renew. As for reasons, I would rather not comment here.
I plan to do DIY and at the same time, invite agents on a non-exclusive term. As long as agents can get the price I want, they will get the commission. Better that way, I don't get stuck with a single agent.
Perhaps I can contact you if you are interested to act on a non-exclusive term.
