I’m now a SPR, 43. I’m planning to apply Sg citizen and buy HDB resale flat as a single citizen if the application is approved. I currently own a property in Malaysia and will dispose it off.
1) I would like to understand the estimated cost of buying 4-rm HDB resale flat. As now the HDB price keeps increasing with the high interest rate from bank loan, I’m not sure if I can afford to buy it by the time if the citizen application is approved. Based on monthly salary $6.6k, CPF $240k, Cash $30k. May I know how much the estimated budget for 4-rm HDB that I’m afford to buy? Can I have an estimated price breakdown including all the other charges fee? How much should be paid by CPF & cash?
2) Is there an age limit to apply HDB loan?
3) Which type of HDB grant that I am eligible to apply for as a single citizen?
4) How soon can I buy HDB resale if I would like to apply HDB loan and HDB grant after I dispose-off property in Malaysia?
