I’m hitting 35 in 2 years time, considering resale flat, any advise?

Hi,
If the finances are comfortable, alternatively you can consider private property today as it has more upside capital. You can sell the private property within 3 years. Will be happy to share more and assist to calculate the finances and draft up a proposal tailored to your requirements.

I would like to compliment Mr Ivan Ng for his professional work and effort.I sent my first post in Jan 2019 and Ivan replied promptly, so I have decided to contact Ivan for follow up. My EC was not ready for sale due to MOP (another 3 months from Jan) at that time and Ivan was able to give me advices on how to proceed from there. Initially we have decided to try to write to HDB for early sale but since it was only 3 months left, eventually we waited for another 3 months while we looked for our next property. Buying a resale HDB may not be the best option as the upside potential is limited and there are quite a lot of restrictions when it comes to HDB ownership. If you can afford it, you may want to look at a private condo instead as you can buy immediately without reaching the age of 35.
