I received a letter from HDB that the Proposed Completion Date (PCD)of my BTO is by end of June 2013. When should I start selling my current HDB flat taking into consideration the selling process, renovation of the new flat so that we don't end up homeless.

Morning,

The main question would be: do you require the funds from your sales to facilitate your purchase? If not, you can start to market your unit now. Seller checklist cooling period, valuation report, marketing and getting buyer requires time. The other factors are quite fixed, with a timeline of about 14 to 16 weeks, once we submit the necessary documentations to HDB.
