I purchased my resell non-subsidised flats on 2008, and bought another condo earlier this year before new regulation, when I bought the private condo, MOP was 3 years while new requirement is 5 yeas. My query is when can I move to condo and sublet my whole HDB unit? Is 3 years from the date I purchased or 5 years from the day I purchased?

Hi Peter,

The MOP that you need to fulfill is 3 years.

You are require to apply for HDB apptroval in order to sublet your whole HDB unit.
