Asked by
I purchased a flat under the SBF scheme, myself as the owner (28 old male) and my mother (60 old female). The flat has less than a year to reach the MOP. My questions are 1) can I remove my mother as an essential occupier and add in my father to be the new essential occupier instead? 2) Will it affect the MOP? Thank you for your time.

Hi,

I believe both your parents are already the essential occupiers of the flat, as they are the ones whom form a valid family nucleus when you purchased it.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
