The income ceiling is only applicable for buyers who are buying new EC or resale EM but taking CPF Housing Grant. If you are looking at resale market, using bank loan, such restrictions does not apply. However, you need to fulfill the basic requirements of family nucleus.

Hi Christian, Executive Condo or EC is a Privatized condo (no different from other condos by private developers), there is no difference as you are buying from the resale market. The income ceiling only applies to purchases of newly developed ones that are sold before they are built.

An Executive Maisonette is not a condo, it is a type of maisonette flat that is built by HDB - it does not have boundary walls outside the tower block, security or facilities. You need to conform to HDB rules to purchase this - ie you need to form a family nucleus to make such a purchase.
