I owned a property in Malaysia and it was purchased at year 2008. Should I sell it off 1st before buying a HDB flat? Do I have to wait for 30mths after the sale completion in order to get a HDB flat? If I don't want to wait for 30mths then what else I can do beside sell it off?

Good morning! Only if you are intending to apply for BTO, you have to observe the 30 months period. You can choose to purchase a resale HDB and upon completion, dispose off your interest in overseas property within 6 months. Hope it helps! Cheers!
