Your son will be able to purchase an Executive condo if he can meet all the pre-requisites.
As for dual key, I am afraid he WILL NOT be able to purchase a dual key as he will need to apply together with his parents to buy one. As you own a private property, you will not be eligible to buy an EC.
You may wish to explore other options ie. purchase 2 units in the same development, one 1BR for you to stay and one 2/3BR for your son to stay.
