I own a shophouse in JB, I'm a Malaysian, with SPR. Does a shophouse constitute as a foreign private property? Can I and my Singaporean Fiancé buy a HDB flat?

Morning Alex,

If my memory does not fail me, the private property restriction is based on residential property holding. Restriction would come in if your shophouse have being classified as residential instead of commercial property.
