I own a hdb flat, can I buy a shophouse for business?

Hi,
Yes if your MOP of 5 years are met, you can purchase commercial property shophouse no issue as long as the finances are comfortable.

If not, you have to buy pure commercial titled shophouse. Not eligible to buy any with residential component during MOP.
Care to share more requirements and budget pertaining to this shophouse purchase?

Have you met the MOP? if yes, then it is ok to purchase a shophouse for business, but ABSD is applicable on the residential component of property.
