Afternoon Alvin,

If you are SC, you are eligible to purchase your second property without the need to sell your HDB unit. With HDB approval, you can also rent out your HDB unit and stay in your condo. But if you are PR, then I'm afraid that you have to sell away your HDB unit within 6 months from key collection of your condo.
