I need some advice on this, I'm about to get married to my foreign fiancee and we're thinking of buying HDB unit .

Now, I do understand that we're only eligible for re-sale unit and private property and we're not eligible for BTO unless my future wife is a Singaporean.

I know that I need to get my future wife a PR status which I plan to do so and i'm sure it's not going to be easy But I want to know if there's any bit of possibility or a chance for me to get a new HDB unit even if my future wife is not a PR yet.

I would like to have some advice :

- The above issue
- If my CPF for now is 30k
- what kind of unit can I get if my gross is 2k per mth and my fiancee is 1.3k per mth.
- Am i eligible for grant and HDB loan and if so, what are the income requirement for HDB loan.

Morning,

To purchase resale unit, your fiancee must have minimum 6 months Work pass or social visit pass, before you can purchase under non-citizen spouse scheme, assuming that you are SC, about 35 y/o.
It's currently impossible for you to purchase New BTO units.
With your current income, you can apply for HDB loan. You will be able to get around $15k housing grant, if your income ceiling does not exceed $5k.
