I just want to share my frustration of this particular house that we really liked. I also have to say the agent/ seller was very shady with us in the process.
So initally it was 690k I requested for viewing then declined because I felt the price was too high.
Then the agent reached out saying we can get this house for 660k with no cov.
We finally made a offer at 650k with cov nego. But we were confident that there won't be cov but hey whatever.
They even offered the intend to buy code and stuff. However hdb website has some technical issue and we had to wait until Monday to sort it. So there was about 2 days gap and they agent was like i need to discuss with the sellers again
Finally on monday once we sort out our issue they said that the sellers changed their mind and increased their price to 678 and the want 20- 30k as cov. It was very disappointing and frustrating after knowing that they agreed then changed their mind. I feel this part of the process is very unfair. But hey money talks right.
