(1) You may buy HDB resale flat before selling your private property.
You have up to 6 months to sell upon key collection for your resale HDB.

This is to ensure you have an accommodation after selling your existing home.

(2) However, you have to ensure this is the only private property owned.
You are not allowed to hold on to any private property upon key collection for your HDB resale.

(3) You have also to observe the eligibility of buying HDB resale before selling your private property.
