Hi,

In order to qualify for new EC, BTO/SBF from HDB is to dispose off private property for 30 months or more.

This is to ensure 'hot' cash does not enter & de-stabilize the subsidized market.

Your only option is to purchase resale HDB or resale EC or another private property.

Unfortunate to say that your chance of success in appeal is slim.

Unfortunately no, you have to wait out 30 months after selling your condo before you can apply for subsidized housing like new EC or BTO. You can purchase resale HDB or condo no issue. You can only apply for new BTO flats if you meet the eligibility conditions, and this includes serving out a 30-month wait-out period after the sale of your private property.

Other conditions include your household income, family nucleus, etc.

For your case, you may wish to look into resale condos or HDB flats instead.

As you had just sold a private property, you will have to wait for 30 months before you are eligible to purchase BTO or new EC from HDB. However, you are eligible for resale HDB unit or private properties.
