I jus obtain my PR recently. I had went thru a lot of hassle n paid processing n legal fees to dispose my msia property so that i can purchase a resale flat here.. because my wife is also expecting our child thats it is important i can buy a flat here.. Now i was about to purchase a resale flat i was hit by this sudden hdb restrictions for PR.. Will i have a strong case to make a purchase since i already spend time n money on disposing msia property wif my wife expecting our child ..further more i already chosen n sign the hdb form to make a purchase wif my agent ...

Hi Jake,

Your case is rather unfortunate. The only thing you can do is to appeal to HDB. I doubt anyone on this portal is able to advise whether you have a strong case.

Hi Jake,

As long as you have a case to bring up, do go ahead. We are not in any position to advise for such cases. In my very own opinion, everyone stands 50% chance in succeeding in their appeal.

Afternoon Jake,

HDB stand is quite firm as you might read reports that nearly 150 cases of S&P have being worked on, due to latest press release. I would agree with Richard to get your salesperson to assist you further.
