Hi Eri,

It's all depends on what you needs and what life-style you wants.

If you just need a roof and do not want to over-stretch your financial, go for HDB. If you looking more of having facilities like swimming pool, tennis court, function room etc etc., then go for a provate condo. And only if your budget allows. Or go for resale EC, whereby the price is still lower compared with private condo.

Afternoon Eri,

With such questions, the answers are usually within your own reach. How much loan are you eligible for? Are your income still within the ceiling limit if you are buying another HDB with second HDB loan? What would be your cash profit be, after returning the CPF used? Which area are you looking at?

It all boils down to both your current financial status and credit record. Work within your limits.
