I intend to purchase a private property but i will need to sell off my current 5rm HDB (as I am still servicing the mortgage), would like to find out is there any grace period given to sell the flat upon purchase of private property ?

Afternoon Ms Low,

As long as you have fulfilled the MOP, you can keep your HDB even after purchase of private property. However, for your case, you need to work on how much you have at hand, how much you can get from sales and how much you need to loan. This will decide on the date, time and method of proceeding with your sales and purchase.
