I intend to buy resale flat with my friend under joint singles scheme. My friend is already 35 and I will reach 35 in a month's time. Are we eligible for HDB loan with monthly household income of 8k? Can we apply for HLE now, or should we wait till both of us are 35 years old?

Hi,

yes as long as your joint total income is below 10K, you are eligible for hdb loan. you should wait till both reach 35 to apply for the HLE.
