I intend to buy a HDB resale flat in Yishun near the Khatib MRT. Is this the right time to buy or should I wait a little while for the prices to drop. How much would the valuation drop if I were to wait?

Morning,

As per report from news and HDB website, the COV component of resale HDB unit have went up. The valuation of units are based on previous selling prices. With this at hand, I would not see much chance of HDB price dropping in near future.

As the huge supply of BTO flats has not come into the market yet, valuation, COV and overall sale price remains high and stable. There's no perfect answer to your question.

I feel as long as you feel the unit is right for you at the right price and place, why not you consider about it?
