I intend to A&A my semi-D which will take about 9~12mths to complete. Meanwhile can I buy a HDB or executive condo to stay? Pls advice!

You can only buy resale EC or private property if you currently own a landed property.Alternatively,you may like to consider renting for the period while your house is under renovation.Please feel free to contact me if you need any assistance to look for a rental unit.Thanks

Hi Keith.

Yes I will also suggest that you look for a private property to rent (HDB is out for you because you own a pte property now).

Buying one might not be feasible because you'll have to pay a 16% Seller Stamp Duty if you sell a pte property with less than one year ownership.

Hi Keith, its is not advisable, cos you have to sell your semi d within 6 months after your hdb purchase.
