I have purchased a BTO and the completion date is Dec-2011, expected possession of flat is May-2012. At the same time, I own a resale flat, that needs to be sold off within 6 months of collecting the keys to my new BTO. Is there any way this can be delayed, or any way to delay collection of keys, as I am based overseas for work now.

Evening Bernie,

You can write into HDB and request for the delay of key collection by providing them with the necessary documentation. Alternatively, you can ask your wife to speak to the officer-in-charge of your case and arrange for the documents to be signed seperately.
