You will be ineligible to purchase any ECs direct from developers, or those that are still under MOP. You may consider looking at relatively new ECs in the resale market for those that are 5 years (assuming you are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident) and above.

Hi,

To purchase a "subsidized housing", you will need to serve a 30-month wait out period after the sale of your private property. A Sales of Balance EC from the developer is considered as a subsidized housing.

You can only purchase a resale EC that the previous owner has met the 5-year MOP. You can also consider resale HDB flat, resale condo, or new launch condos.

Hi

Unfortunately you are not eligible to purchased a new EC as you need to wait out a cooling off period of 30 months. You may want to consider resale EC (EC that has met its 5 years MOP) resale condo or new developments some of which looks more promising than the current EC that is om the market right now. I believe you are referring to new EC.

Sorry to inform you that you will have to observe a waiting period of 30 months from your private property sale before you are eligible to apply for a new EC.

Care to share why do you have this thought to buy a new EC? What's your initial plan when you marketed your condo for sale?
