There are merits in engaging an professional realtor to sell your place, which potentially brings you a higher price than you can attain yourself as a DIY seller due to access to an enlarged buyer pool. There are also timeline coordination and a sensing of a "good" buyer who will not disrupt your housing plans when they are already in motion. Otherwise, you wouldn't see so many homeowners still engaging professional realtors to do it for their sale.
