The good news is, you do not need to reapply for another HLE. You can use the current one that you have. If you are looking to purchase a bigger unit than you originally wanted, I would recommend that you do a detailed financial calculation.

Maybe we can have a non obligatory discussion about this if you are comfortable. We can help you to do a financial calculation to determine not just your affordability but also how comfortable the purchase will be. Looking at the current market, I would also recommend buying a 5 room over a 4 room. As mentioned, there are no obligations at all and we will forward the calculations for you to keep so that you can make that informed decision.

Maybe just to share a little on my partner and myself. We have been in this business for a while and we have served many clients over time. There is no need to reapply, the HLE typically states the approved amount is for all types of hdb housing categories, and as long as you don't intend to loan more than the amount stated.
