i have a fully paid hdb, MOP soon. single owner, wife is essential occupier.

after MOP, she can buy her own property without paying ABSD as that is her first property.

however her single salary is not high thus cannot borrow as much.

can i transfer the hdb to her after MOP, then i can use my name to buy another property without paying ABSD? This is NOT DECOUPLE. as using my name whom have higher salary+CPF OA funds, can get a higher amt of bank loan

if can, how much is the paperwork to transfer my hdb to her?

Hi,

Transfer of ownership is not so straightforward as it requires hdb approval and also your wife has to refund the CPF OA that you have utilized for the property. May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.
