I have a floating HDB loan package. My 2 year lock in period will be finishing soon. Whats the procedure for refinancing? If i were to change bank, what are the additional cost which would be incurred?

Hi RKK,

Once your lock-in period expire, you do not need to pay any penalty when you refinance.

There may be some minor admin cost involved when you switch bank for refinancing. But usually the savings from refinancing will more than compensate for the minor cost.

Which bank are you looking at? I can ask my bankers to contact you for refinancing.
