Morning,

For SPR buyers, ABSD of 5% is applicable on purchase of 1st residential property. Since your spouse is not working, it's unlikely that bank will grant her any loan. Given today's ruling, if the mortgage loan is under your name, you are required to be added as the owner of the purchased property. Hence if you are looking at buying a property under your spouse name, you only option is to buy it with solid cash.
