I have a 5rm HDB. If I buy a private property, can I stay in the private property and sublet the HDB flat?

Dear sir/madam,

1. Have you met the Minimum Occupation Period for your HDB?

2. Are you a Singapore citizen or PR?

To be able to do so, you must have met your Minimum Occupation Period and for PR, you are only allowed to sublet your HDB with a few conditions.

Afternoon,

If you have fulfilled the MOP and you are SC, yes. When either are not meet, I would say no. With the current change of ruling renting of whole HDB unit, PR are to have their permit renewed yearly and it's renewal will be dependent on the reasons provided.
