Hi,

Its kind of a broad question, do you have a particular location or number of rooms/unit size in mind? Finances wise, usually buyers try to derive their budget by asking themselves the downpayment+stamp duties (which is at least 23% of purchase price) they are comfortable paying, as well as the monthly mortgage they are willing to service (assuming 80% loan). This will give you a rough idea to narrow down to the optimal price range.

To enquire about loan, age is a very important factor. Since you did not mention, I just assume that your age is around 45" so that I can give you a rough estimation.

Case study: assume buyer age is 45,
Since you said cpf around $100k, and high yearly income of $150k, I assume you are a self employer.
For self employed, you need to prepare past 2 years NOA.

after calculation, you can loan up to estimated $820,000. This figure will be lower if you have any personal loan or car loan with bank.

If this is yr 1st house, you can loan up to 80%, which come out to be property prices ranging at $1.15mil.

But you need to prepare (5% cash), and (cpf/cash 15%) cos bank only loan 80% of sale price.

If you dun want to come out much cash, just lower budget below $1.15 mil will do the trick.
