I had sold my first subsidy HDB flat, and now currently staying in a resale flat. My parents had recently wrote a will that states that they will pass down their HDB flat to me. After they passed away, if I sell the flat, do I need to pay the resale levy? Thank you very much!

Afternoon David,

Resale levy are paid to HDB if you are getting your second subsidized unit from HDB. For the inherited unit which you are likely to sell away, resale levy is not payable.
