i got my 1st resale hdb flat with hdb loan,then i sold off and got a 2nd resale hdb flat,got a grant from hdb and paid in full .

my question is , if i get the next hdb flat, be it new or resale ,if i were to take up a 2nd hdb loan, do i have to give half of my cash proceeds to hdb?

Hi,

Yes for 2nd hdb loan, half of your cash proceeds will be Used to offset the loan amount so as to keep the 2nd hdb loan amount low. This is to encourage prudence. Thanks and hope to assist with your housing plans further.
