i earn more than $5000 a month and would like to purchase a hdb under the single scheme resale ... since the rule say that the income ceiling is $5000 for hdb loan up to 5 rooms ... if i am looking at higher than 5 rooms , can i still get hdb loan ?

Morning Ivan, Under single scheme, you need to be SC above age of 35. If you are looking at getting HDB loan for the purchase, the income ceiling is capped at $5k.     Hi Mike, Thanks for the reply, which also means that I couldn't avoid the fork out of 5% for bank loan cash deposit even when I have more than sufficient CPF for the DP
