I currently viewed a hdb flat. Agent said seller’s parents passed away and now seller applied for transfer of ownership is pending. After transfer of ownership can seller sell the flat immediately or need to wait for MOP ?

Hi Mr. Michael Lucas,

1) From your description, this looks like an inherited property.
2) Thus he is allowed to sell this once his application to take over the flat is completed.
3) He doesn't have to wait for 5 years MOP.
