Afternoon,

Legally, your buyer will have to occupy your unit, after completion. However, there are quite a number of investors who purchase such unit for rental.
For such agreement, it have to be made clear to the buyer. The pricing and location of your unit also plays a part.

It is illegal and there are risks involved for both parties. It will be clean cut if you sell the unit, then proceed to rent another place.
