Asked by
I currently have a HDB flat with an outstanding loan. (ard 100k SGD). I will like to buy a condo for investment and if i do so i will have 2 options:

(1) To Fully pay the HDB flat and then deposit 20% for the condo.
(2) Pay 40% for the condo and not paying the HDB flat outstanding loan.

With either option, i will not have enough money in my CPF to attain the mimimum sum.

My question:
As such, will i be able to use my CPF to pay for the monthly installment for option 1 (for the condo only even though never attain minimum sum) or option 2 (swap the CPF OA to be used for the monthly installment of the condo and pay the HDB installment by cash) ?

Thank you very much for your advice,
Rgds,
Mr. Lim
